President Bolton invites you to join her and Portland area alumni, families and friends in an October 7 conversation with Lyman Persico, Associate Professor of Geology and Environmental Studies and co-director of Semester in the West.

The discussion will focus on today’s outstanding Whitman liberal arts education and how, through your support, students are finding expanding opportunities for discovery outside of the classroom through immersive learning such as Semester in the West, internships, and student-faculty research.
