Join Out After Whitman, the LGBTQIA+ alumni group, for a beautiful summer afternoon by the water! Gather at Alki Beach for a relaxed community stroll, a touch of local history, and a casual happy hour to connect with fellow queer Whitties in the Seattle area.

Cynthia Glenn ’84 will guide the afternoon, leading a flat, accessible 1.5-mile walk along the boardwalk, sharing insights into the rich history of Alki Beach and the Native peoples who have long stewardship of the land. Afterward, we’ll head over to Cactus Alki Beach to cool off with refreshments, complimentary bites, and great conversation. Bring cash or card to purchase alcoholic drinks, if you please.
